Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would have 2 years or more experience with computer repair and/or software installation and configuration.  This candidate must work well in a team environment and have exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a professional and detailed manner, and take pride in his or her work. The candidate will be required to work some weekends and evening hours as required for specific projects. The candidate must be a self starter who can work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

Additional Duties:

A Network Technician is utilized to assist the Data Processing Manager in the maintenance and implementation of LAN/WAN systems and to also provide as backup to the Computer Operator. Duties of the Network Technician include but are not limited to, maintaining accurate inventory levels using appropriate hardware and software tracking made available by Pacific State Bank. Also, the technician will help maintain hardware and software within Pacific State Bank to work at optimum levels and to troubleshoot and repair errors or end-user problems as necessary. The technician must be familiar with Windows 2000 and higher and the integration of personal computers in a networking environment. The technician will troubleshooting and repair issues to as described in Data Processing Procedures. They will assist end-users with training on hardware and software as required by end-users. They will also maintain and install computer and network equipment including both software and hardware; this includes but is not limited to upgrading motherboards, hard drives and network equipment. The technician will maintain personnel security records that include entering new users on the WAN/LAN and removing those users who are no longer allowed access and maintain and create proper procedures required for maintenance and installation of specific equipment as necessary and required by Data Processing Procedures. Network technicians are also responsible for maintaining security in accordance with all regulatory compliance measures implemented within the organization.

• Providing a secure and safe network for non-public personal information to be stored and utilized to keep safe from those who would utilize such information for fraud and personal gain.
• Assist in maintaining strict Federal Reserve compliance on a continual basis
• Assist in projects and system implementations as necessary
• Work with others in project situations to change, modify or adjust program specifications to reach specific end goals or needs.
• Add/remove users from systems upon new hire and or terminations
• Maintain the training room so that all equipment is functional
• Help desk support.
• Maintaining proper documentation and develop procedural documentation as required.
